Royals A4:
(B) Emma Spruce, Laura Magee and Becca Chin (S) Caroline Ealey Cox: Zazel Baker.
A fantastic achievement yet again for Royals reaching the finals and only just losing out to a Cambridge City Crew.
Our girls only formed in the last 3 months to race under Duncan Little and his experience.
Emma and Becca have also been part of the GB Training Squad this year with regular invites to training camps and competing against the best of GB.Both girls only started rowing 18 months ago and with a clear goal have worked hard to achieve recognition and results for themselves and Royals. Laura and Caroline have more experience of Rowing and formed a crucial part of this years squad.
Royals B4: (B) Sarah Hocknell, Hannah Worrall and Helen Burkhalter (S) Angela Sheldon Cox: Jenny Turner
Backing up the A4, our girls managed to stay in the racing schedule before losing out valiantly and with great dignity.
this year has seen the girls in a combined 8 and with great success in various heads and the HORR.
THE LADIES SQUAD CONTINUES TO GO FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH AND WELCOME NEW BLOOD EITHER EXPERIENCED OR ATHLETES LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE.
